Man Pleaded Guilty in the Car Crash that Left One Dead and Another Severely Burned

A man has pleaded guilty today to two counts of driving under the influence in the case of a November 2013 wreck that killed a man and severely burned a woman in Biloxi.
29 year old Victor Carransa, of Honduras, has been sentenced to 24 years on each count. Police say Carransa was speeding when he rear-ended another car, causing it to burst into flames. The driver, Chris Vicari, died after being taken off life support. His passenger, Amanda Dawson, suffered First, second and third degree burns.
Carransa had a blood alcohol level of .18.
