Man Helps Teenager after Story on WXXV

It’s a happy day for one local teenager. Seventeen year old Ethan Wynn got his stolen car back today and it was free of charge all because a Progressive Insurance agent saw our story last week.
Ethan was scammed out of the car he bought through a Craigslist ad. This is a story with a happy ending.
Ethan and his mother, Sadie Hebert, picked the car up and tell News 25 they are taking it to get a license plate and hope this time there will be no issues.
Ethan was devastated before but today, he can’t stop smiling. “I feel really great about it. I’m just really happy to get the car. I’m so thankful that Progressive would just donate the car like this. It just makes me really happy. My mom finally doesn’t have to drive me everywhere and I can just drive around town, get a job, teenage stuff, normal teenage stuff.”
Sadie Hebert says the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department still has not captured the suspect who sold the family a stolen car.
