Man Charged with False Pretense
A California man was arrested over the weekend in Biloxi for trying to redeem a bad check at the Golden Nugget Casino.
According to the Biloxi Police Department, 45-year-old Hung Phong Vinh Bui was arrested on the charge of false pretense after attempting to redeem the same $50,000 cashier’s check for a line of credit that had already been redeemed at another casino.
Bui was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and is held under a $100,000 bond.
