Man arrested in Wiggins on sexual battery, child exploitation charges; investigation ongoing
WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- A man has been arrested in Wiggins in connection to an ongoing sexual battery investigation.
The Wiggins Police Department says Jesse Stiles was arrested and charged with one count of sexual battery and two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes while in a position of authority over the child.
Stiles had his initial appearance on May 19 and was issued a $300,000 bond.
According to the police department, the investigation remains active and ongoing. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and to protect the identities of the victims, no further information is being released at this time.
