MAC Hall of Fame: Biloxi’s Bobby Hall among Class of 2017

For the last four decades, Biloxi Head Football Coach Bobby Hall has been pacing the sidelines all over Mississippi.
All these years later, the second winningest high school coach in the history of the Magnolia State has finally earned his place amongst the best to ever do it.
Tonight, Hall was one of five members of the class of 2017 inducted into the Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame. Alongside him were the likes of Johnny Barfield, Johnny Hill, Samuel Washington, and Mike Wilkinson.
Hall is one of just two coaches from Mississippi to collect 300 career wins throughout his 34 years in the prep football ranks. Overall, he’s set to enter his 40th season of coaching in 2017. He says there’s only one person that loves his job more than he does. “I love coaching. I love coaching the kids. I love the relationships with the players, the relationships with the assistant coaches. Confucius, per my research, now there’s conflicting reports on this one, per my research, Confucius said find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. That was me. I’m just convinced Hugh Heffner took it to a new level.”
Coach Hall is entering his third season with the Indians, fresh off their class 6A playoff appearance in 2017.
