Lunch and Learn at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center

The Beau Rivage hosts interactive cooking sessions as a way to raise money for the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center.
Beau Rivage chefs volunteer their time every Thursday as a part of the center’s “Lunch and Learn” series. Locals are invited to take part in a cooking session filled with demonstrations, conversations, take-home recipes and taste testing.
“Lunch and Learn” goes from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and seats about 25 people. Beau Rivage chefs bring a different style of cooking to the class each week.
Chef Cheri Hiers, culinary arts director at the Mary C. O’Keefe, said, “You never know who’s going to come in. Sometimes, we do lots of southern food but we also have Japanese chefs come in, Korean chefs, all different types of chefs that come in. we recently had a swami in, so that was fun and interesting.”
“Lunch and Learn” tickets are $12 a person.
