Look at Sandy go!

Move over, Frosty and make way for Sandy the Snowman.
If you’ve traveled along Highway 90 in Pass Christian you’ve probably noticed a big red hat and that’s because a snowman made of sand is gracing the beach all thanks to a few local families.
While Sandy’s eyes are pine cones rather than coal, people from all across the Coast are stopping by to see the jolly creation. Picayune Resident Carolyn Houchin said, “I took off for my birthday from work, today is my birthday, and I wasn’t sure what we were going to do. It’s a beautiful day and then I saw the sandman, the sand snowman on Facebook, and said ‘honey that’s what we’re going to do today’ and here we are. It’s pretty awesome. Whoever put him up there, they did a wonderful job at him.”
The sand snowman had already been shared on Facebook over 4,300 times all across the U.S. and even in parts of Europe and Africa.
