Long Beach tabs Matthew DeFillips as next head boys soccer coach

The Long Beach boys soccer program has been one of the best around over the last half-dozen years, having played for the 5A state championship six years in a row and winning it all the last three years.

Tonight, the Bearcats announced Matthew DeFillips as their next head coach to continue the winning tradition left by Andee Wilburn.

Having most recently served as the head boys and girls coach at Cleveland Central, DeFillips is a graduate of Delta State and has been approved by the board of trustees.
