Long Beach preparing for ‘Breakfast with the Mayor’

The City of Long Beach is setting the stage for Wednesday’s ‘Breakfast with the Mayor’ with Long Beach Mayor George Bass.

The breakfast is put on by the mayor and Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2nd from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at USM’s Gulf Park Campus in the Hardy Ballroom.

Mayor Bass will give updates on the city, including Long Beach developments.

After reviewing nominations, the recipient of this year’s ‘Aline Doherty Citizen of the Year’ award will be presented, along with the city’s ‘2019 Public Works Employee of the Year’ award.

‘First Responder of the Year’ awards will also be presented at the breakfast.

The event is open to the public and costs $25 for general admission. Chamber members get in for $20. Breakfast is included.
