Local student’s March Madness bracket ranked top 10 in nation
Across the country, millions of people have filled out their March Madness brackets, but many don’t make it past the first few rounds.
That is not the case for one senior at St. Stanislaus who is now ranked ninth in the nation for his ESPN bracket. It might come as a surprise to you that Logan Verdigets doesn’t even play basketball, but he is beating out more than 17.5 million other brackets.
Logan says he did multiple brackets this year and the one that is helping him win was picked at random and he rushed through making it.
His advice? Don’t put too much thought into the process. “Just don’t spend too much time next year picking the teams, just kind of go with who you want. It really is all luck.”
Logan has Purdue winning it all. If he wins, Logan says he plans on putting the money towards college.
