Local food reviewers gain mass following
A father and son are teaming up to provide food reviews on local small businesses.
Randal and his son Calvin Constant are helping small food businesses on the Coast gain more customers through their social media.
In 2018, Randal started making LinkedIn videos with his son, who has cerebral palsy. Randal wanted to give his son an outlet to express himself.
The duo review local food products on their LinkedIn Live and have father-son discussions.
In 2020 when the pandemic hit, they really saw a jump in their viewers. They have picked up about 50,000 followers on LinkedIn in the food and beverage industry.
Randal tells News 25 the goal is to work with Big Fortune 500 companies. “The deal is to make some deals with certain manufacturers so we can work on a continuous bases with certain manufacturers and kind of be the spokesmen for the LinkedIn market.”
The two want to continue to grow their audience and eventually expand to other platforms.
