Local delivery businesses adjust due to virus

As we move into another week of the Coronavirus outbreak, many restaurants and food delivery businesses continue to remain open to serve the public.

For Papa John’s of South Mississippi, contactless delivery, curbside carryout, and quality seals on pizza boxes are some of the many changes in operation employees are experiencing.

Papa John’s locations on the Coast are also still hiring and finding new ways to give back to the community, including donating over 1,000 slices of pizza to the USO and local hospitals and joining the list of businesses in the ‘Good to Go’ restaurant group. Jason Edwards with Papa John’s of South Mississippi said, “The customers have been really thrilled that we have those kinds of things to offer. So, they’ve had a lot of positive things to say about it. It’s been shown in kindness with how much they’re ordering and with how well they’re tipping the drivers.”
