Local business makes large donation to CASA of Harrison and Stone Counties

A local business has made a sound investment in our South Mississippi children.

CASA of Harrison and Stone Counties just received a very sizable donation of all sorts of goodies for children in CASA’s care.

Many of these children are going through the tough court process of allegations of abuse and neglect so this donation is sure to bring some much-needed joy to dozens of local youngsters. Jourdan Hartshorn with CASA of Harrison and Stone Counties said, “We have enough to put in our resource trailer to make sure every kid we advocate for has a toy. We have movies. We have books. We have crock pots. We have other things that can go to the families because CASA is all about reunification.”

CASA just expanded from Harrison County to also include and extend its services to Stone County.
