Little Free Library in Long Beach

Take a book, leave a book. If you love reading, you’ll love the Little Free Library in Long Beach.
A Little Free Library now sits in front of Robert Collins home on the corner of Citadel Circle and Old Savannah Drive. It’s the second one registered in Long Beach. It’s a tiny bird house-sized post that is stocked with a variety of books, free to read and return or share and even add some from your own collection.
Collins’ library has a fun Mickey Mouse theme and is dedicated in memory of his mother, Mildred Collins. “Right now, I have a couple of books from when I was younger that I read in college, pocket books. I’ve got a couple of my mother’s books that we picked up from her house this past weekend when we went up there to bring some stuff back. That’s about it right now. We have a whole box of other books to keep it in stock, but we’re hoping to see if the neighborhood can pitch in to add to it.”
