Lil Boosie ordered to pay $200,000 to Biloxi security guard
Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie has been ordered to pay more than $230,000 to a security guard at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi after a fight broke out during Black Spring Break in 2017.
U.S. District Judge Louis Guirola entered a default judgement after Boosie failed to appear in court and also not respond to court pleadings since March, according to our media partner, the Sun Herald.
The judge determined that the security guard, Glen Kerley, was intentionally assaulted by Boosie and another security guard outside of Dillard’s. Kerley suffered a concussion and neck injuries from the assault.
He said that he was attacked as soon as he got the group outside of Dillard’s south entrance. He identified Boosie and Anderson as two of the many people who attacked him.
Boosie has been ordered to pay $232,128 to Kerley. The rapper has a separate case pending against Dillard’s which had an attorney in court to monitor Tuesday’s hearing.
