Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Executive Breakfast

This morning, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Executive Breakfast for ‘Light the Night’ took place at the Beau Rivage.

This breakfast serves as a starting point for planning the ‘Light the Night’ event. ‘Light the Night’ is set for October 17th at Jones Park and is filled with a walk, honoring survivors and even fireworks to end the night.

This event has helped raise over a million dollars for the society and for cancer patients in Mississippi. Many companies lend a hand, including RPM Pizza, who has been helping for over 25 years. PRM Pizza Owner/ LLS Executive Committee member Glenn Muller said, “It’s a very big event and it’s a fun event, but it also touches the hearts of those who have been impacted by something that we can eliminate and they have done a great job. LLS has already eliminated about 16 different cancers and so we are really excited to help and to get more and more eliminated.”

‘Light the Night’ is set for October 17th at Jones Park in Gulfport.
