Law enforcement raise money for breast cancer awareness

Law enforcement from across the Coast came together to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer awareness.
The event was introduced by members of the Department of Marine Resources in conjunction with the organization Real Men Wear Pink.
The Gulf Coast chapter of Real Men Wear Pink has raised just under $40,000 out of their $50,000 goal set for this year. Marine Patrol Chief Keith Davis said, “We are definitely taking notes for next year and hopefully we can do the same thing and make it bigger and better and raise even more money next year.”
A gun was raffled off at today’s event along with a friendly gun competition between local law enforcement offices.
