Lane Kiffin gets first Ole Miss win in OT thriller against Kentucky

Another Head Football Coach in Mississippi getting his first win and Lane Kiffin really had to sweat it out.

Eighty-three points scored between Ole Miss and Kentucky and it all came down to a missed extra point in overtime.

The Rebels capitalized when they got the ball back, holding on for dear life in their 42-41 victory over the Wildcats. Kiffin said, “At the end of the day, just got to score more than they do. I said it all week, we’ve got to get to 1-0. And whether it’s 2-0 or 42-41, find a way to win and we did. And we send a Christmas present to their kicker.”

Next up for Ole Miss is a home date with Kiffin’s former school: the University of Alabama.
