Labor Day Patrol

Labor Day weekend is upon us, which means people are filling their cars and hitting the roads. It also means local and state law enforcement will be out in force, patrolling South Mississippi roadways.
Biloxi police are teaming up with other Gulf Coast departments and sending out extra patrol. Authorities say with gas prices under two dollars, they expect even more travelers to be on the road.
Officials also tell News 25 if it rains this weekend, drivers should slow down to prevent accidents. In Mississippi, drivers can receive a ticket for driving the speed limit and not slowing down during wet road conditions.
