Labor Day Blitz at the Biloxi Police Department

As another busy holiday on the road approaches, the Biloxi Police Department wants to make sure drivers are careful.

Starting today, the department kicks off ‘Labor Day Blitz.’ An increased number of law enforcement officers will patrol the roadways in Biloxi at different times.

Biloxi police just want to make sure the laws of the roads are enforced for safety purposes, especially during Labor Day Weekend.

Major Chris De Back said, “We are looking for people to be wearing their seat belts, being safe, obeying traffic laws, watching for additional traffic, whether it’s a vehicle or pedestrian traffic. If they are out there drinking, make sure they have a plan.”

The blitz will end after Labor Day Weekend.
