Krispy Kreme donates 500 boxes of doughnuts to student
The college student reselling Krispy Kreme doughnuts across state lines is now backed by the chain.
After initially telling Jayson Gonzalez to stop his business scheme Krispy Kreme is now helping him out, donating 500 boxes of doughnuts to the student.
The company said its main concern was the quality of its product during the 270 mile drive to and from Gonzalez’s closest Krispy Kreme store and his hometown.
But, when Krispy Kreme learned the college student was using this venture to help him graduate debt free the chain decided to support him, allowing Gonzalez to operate as an “independent operator”.
