Kindness towards Gulfport K-9s

A local business owner organized a fundraiser to purchase something special for the K-9s in the Gulfport Police Department.
Connie Call, owner of the local dog walking company ‘Pet Parent Paradise’, raised about $4,500 to purchase vests for the K-9 officers in the Gulfport Police Department. Call tells News 25 she just wanted a way to show her appreciation for the ones who have a job that can sometimes be thankless. Support from clients, friends, families and the community made it all possible. “We had one vest purchased through my clients and we had another vest purchased by an individual by herself named Ms. Dianne and then the third and fourth vests were done through GoFundMe accounts and then Rooney’s Irish Pub held a fundraiser for us.”
Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania presented Connie Call with a certificate of appreciation. Call tells News 25 she simply wanted to cover the backs of the dogs that help cover the backs of officers.
