Kids Share Smiles, Good Times and Wish Lists at First-Ever Breakfast with Santa Event at Beauvoir

It’s not everyday you get to have a snowball fight in
South Mississippi or a sit down one-on-one meeting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, but Beauvoir set the stage for this and more Saturday morning at its first-ever Breakfast with Santa event.

Nearly 100 people enjoyed holiday treats provided by local businesses including Texas Roadhouse, the Beau Rivage and the McDonald’s next to Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, a delightful start to the day at the Breakfast with Santa event at the historic home of Jefferson Davis in Biloxi.

Andy Armadillo was on hand, as well as Santa Claus and his wife, who took a break from the North Pole to take photos and listen to the wish lists of good little girls and boys like eight-year-old Ava, and her 10-year-old brother Aiden Meno, of Gulfport. Ava’s wish-for her daddy, a Seabee with NMCB 1, deployed overseas, to return home safe and sound.

An elf from Airmazing twisted holiday balloons, ranging from reindeer to snowmen for the kids at the event. Whisper of Hope Wildlife Rescue group was also on hand with a baby owl and other critters at the Breakfast with Santa at Beauvoir.

Beauvoir leaders say tickets for this first-ever event sold out, and they expect Breakfast with Santa to become and annual event and they are now preparing for the “Four Days of Christmas” at Beauvoir, which runs from Dec. 19 – 22.
