Kenny Glavan to Run for Mayor

The City of Biloxi faces a last minute curve ball in its search for a new Mayor.
The day before today’s qualifying deadline, Interim Mayor, Kenny Glavan, announces he will now run for the permanent seat.
This means that Glavan will have to step down from the interim position, and city officials must choose a new acting mayor.
Those interested in running had until 5pm today to file their paperwork. As of today, there are 10 candidates for the Biloxi mayoral race.
The special election is set for April 28th.
