Keesler to hold basic training graduation on Friday

Officials at Keesler Air Force Base said Monday that it will hold Basic Military Training as scheduled on Friday.

Keesler officials said in a press release that the base had minimal damage, which allowed them to hold the graduation exercises.

Exercises will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

KAFB accommodated BMT students because of COVID-19 to fulfill social distancing guidelines. Friday’s graduation is the final flight of airmen to graduate. There are no plans to add basic training flights to Keesler in the next calendar year.
