Keesler C.G.O.C. serves the Coast

This morning, the mission for a group of lieutenants and captains from Keesler Air Force Base was to lend a helping hand.
The Company Grade Officers Council is an organization that focuses on trying to get people living and working on base to get hands on with the community.
The group volunteers several times throughout the year. The Loaves and Fishes Coordinator tells News 25 their help is vital to their operation. Bryan Morales with Loaves and Fishes said, “We rely heavily on groups like Keesler and other volunteer groups that come in to help us to get this done.”
Jeff Golson with Keesler Air Force Base C.G.O.C said, “The Keesler-Biloxi relationship is phenomenal. The community is extremely supportive of the military here and so really this is about us giving back to the community.”
Hannah Swysgood with Keesler Air Force Base C.G.O.C. said, “That’s why we come out here and that’s why we learn how to volunteer. We learn how to be leaders so we can service the people back home.”
Loaves and Fishes is open to anyone who wants to stop by. They serve breakfast and lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
