Keesler Federal Credit Union offers provisional credit

Because of the government shutdown, Keesler Federal Credit Union is prepared to provide provisional credit to federal employees who will not be paid due to the shutdown.  This credit will be for members who have federal payroll direct deposit established with Keesler Federal.

Keesler Federal is monitoring the situation closely to identify members (with direct deposit) whose upcoming payroll direct deposit may be impacted by this shutdown.  These members will be notified (through email) about the details of this provisional credit.

This provisional credit means the amount of the advance will be deducted from a member’s account when Keesler Federal receives the payroll money paid on the next pay date.  Keesler Federal is not charging interest for this provisional credit.
