Jury Convicts Man For Murder

A Harrison County jury convicts a New York man for a 2015 D’Iberville murder.

24 year old “Marquis Saunders” will spend the rest of his life in prison for shooting and killing Jamel Jones at the amber drive apartments two years ago.
Jurors deliberated for less than two hours before reaching the guilty verdict.
In addition to his life sentence for murder, a judge sentenced Saunders to an additional five years to be served concurrently for stealing a car.
