Jurassic Quest at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum

Jurassic Quest is a spectacular dinosaur event that took families from all over the Gulf Coast back to Jurassic times this weekend.

Over 80 life-size animatronic dinosaurs filled the Coast Coliseum Friday through Sunday. There were also plenty of activities for the kids while they learned about dinosaurs like blow-up houses, dinosaur rides, and face painting.

Families could tour the attractions on their own or have a guide escort them while helping them understand everything there is to know about these extinct creatures. Jurassic Quest Public Relations Manager Johnel Acosta said, “The love for dinosaurs in Biloxi is definitely something that took us by surprise. We were expecting to just meet a lot of people, but the foot traffic that we’ve had this weekend and everyone just trying to see the dinosaurs, trying to witness all the baby dinosaur shows, the walking dinosaur shows. The love for dinosaurs is overwhelming in the most, in the best way possible.”

Jurassic Quest hopes to return to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the future to continue the dinosaur fun.
