Jeepin’ the Coast unofficially rolled along the Coast

While Jeepin’ the Coast 2020 was officially canceled due to concerns of COVID-19, jeeps from around the country still flooded the Coast this weekend.

The normally four day event celebrating the love of all things Jeep went on unofficially.

Saturday, hundreds of Jeeps caravaned from Bay St. Louis to Long Beach to Biloxi all the way to Ocean Springs and back to Bay St. Louis.

The event not only gives jeepers a chance to meet and mingle, it helps fund raise for a good cause right here on the Coast. “There’s a 501c3 called ‘Costumes for a Cause’ and they help all local cancer patients if someone needs help with their electric bill or just whatever needs they may have. And all the money stays local. Jennifer Moran, Kim Farve, there’s a big group that are involved in that and also Jeepin’ the Coast. So, Jeepin’ the Coast is a big fundraiser for our local cancer patients, so we were really disappointed that the official event was canceled, but they’re still selling shirts that say ‘canceled’ and still doing as much fundraising as we can for them.”
