Jackson County man charged after weekend shooting in St. Martin

ST. MARTIN, Miss (WXXV)–A Jackson County man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he opened fire on a vehicle during an argument in the St. Martin community.

Jackson County sheriff’s investigators say 32-year-old Randall Andrew Pisarich Jr. got into a verbal argument with a person inside a car.

As the driver tried to leave the area , Pisarich allegedly fired several shots into the vehicle. Four passengers were inside at the time.

The shooting happened around 5:48 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 on Waycross Drive.

Deputies found one of the passengers in the back seat of the car suffering from a gunshot wound and provided aid before the victim was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Pisarich was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated assault. He is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center while awaiting his first court appearance.
