Jackson County Inmate Poses as another Inmate and Escapes

A female inmate at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center allegedly plotted with another female inmate who looks similar to her to be released from the jail Monday night around 8.
Thirty-one year-old Tenia Stork was jailed on contempt of court charges. She was scheduled to be released by court order Monday afternoon. Thirty-three year-old Tiffanie Ann Miller was in jail on two felony shoplifting charges and neglect of a vulnerable adult.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says when the guard called Storks’ name to release her, Miller answered instead and during the release process, Miller changed into Storks’ clothes. Jail surveillance video shows the two women sat together and hugged goodbye when Storks name was called to be released.
Stork now faces charges of aiding the escape of a felon. Miller will be charged with escape. A statewide be on the lookout has been issued on Miller and she is also listed on NCIC.
Jail procedures are being reviewed to determine if changes need to be made.
