Jackson County Board of Supervisors presented State of the County
Jackson County Board of Supervisors President Randy Bosarge presented the 2022 State of the County Address during the Pascagoula Rotary Club meeting at Grand Magnolia Ballroom in Pascagoula.
At the address, Bosarge discussed the county finances and the continued proactive steps the county is taking to encourage and prepare for a growing economy.
Bosarge touched on economic development and increasing the existing pipeline of workers to maintain economic competitiveness in the global marketplace.
He also touched on the importance of having government and industry partnerships. “The board of supervisors and the Pascagoula City Council just approved some financing for a project on Highway 90 coming into Pascagoula. So, now when you are coming into Pascagoula you will see a brand-new development happening and the great thing about that is it is local developers.”
Bosarge says the county is looking to bring diversification to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
