‘Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee’

Halloween may still be a few weeks away, but the City of Long Beach is getting spooky season started early.

Kids, adults, and even our four-legged friends took over the town green in Long Beach on Saturday night for the ‘Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee.’

Trick-or-treating began early among a row of decorated jeeps for ‘Jeep-O-Ween.’ Dogs and kids with the spookiest costumes were recognized in multiple costume contests.  Long Beach Mayor George Bass said, “We’ve got the perfect place here at our town green. It’s another great opportunity to put something on for our community where families can come out and enjoy with their children.”

The Long Beach Carnival Association, 39650 Jeepin’, and Fetch Park teamed up with the city to host the event.
