Island View Casino construction update

It’s been one year since Island View Casino officials broke ground on a $75 million expansion project.

Since then, crews have been hard at work on the land south of Highway 90 working to build the 43,000 square foot beach front casino expansion. Today, Island View officials told News 25 the new casino is set to open sometime at the end of June this year.

The new expansion will be a smoke free casino and will land Island View in the top spot when it comes to size, parlaying into the Coast’s largest casino floor with 123,000 square feet for gaming.
