iPad Class at Tulane University

If you feel like you are falling behind in the tech world, Tulane University is here to help you catch up.
The school held an iPad class at the Edgewater Mall to go over the basics of how to use the tablet. Participants brought their own Apple device and started off simple with learning terms such as ‘ios’ and what an app is.
Instructor Ronald Warr says it’s for ‘digital immigrants’ who did not grow up surrounded by technology like generations are today. “They have the time, the abilities, and I guess the desire to learn this stuff and so it’s important for us to provide a way for them to get it,” he said.
The three hour workshop costs $10 and is open to the public. The next advanced iPad class will take place in two weeks.
