Inside Look at MGM Park

The countdown continues. Four days from now, the Shuckers will take the field at MGM Park for the first time.
News 25’s Shelby Myers went inside MGM Park today and gives us a pre-game tour.
Shuckers Co-owner, Tim Bennett, said, “ I say we’ll be about 85-90% finished on game day. As far as the fans with season tickets and the fans that don’t have suits, we’ll be 100% finished for those folks.”
For the folks who have paid to cheer from their seats in the sky box, Bennett says no woories, you’ll be able to see the game up high just a few weeks after the home opener. The June 6th opening date would not have been possible without negotiations between the city, the team and the construction crew.
While there are still a few finishing touches that need to be made before the stadium is fully complete, Saturday’s Opening Day will be a homerun for the fans and the Shuckers.
