Increase In Hunting Licenses

The price of hunting and fishing licenses could soon increase to help pay for more state game wardens.

The senate passes a house bill which would increase fish and small game licenses from eight dollars, to ten.

Meantime fishing and hunting licenses would increase from 17 to 25 dollars.

Sportsmen’s licenses for primitive weapons and bow and arrow hunting would increase from 32 dollars to 45.

The last time license prices increased was in 1993.

The proposal now returns to the house for more work.
