Ice Skating is Back

The weather may be warm outside but inside the Coast Coliseum, it’s ice cold!
Ice skating is back on the Coast! It kicked off tonight at 6 and will last until January 10th. All ages can come to the coliseum for their 90 minute skating session.
The Mississippi Coast Coliseum offers the only regular public ice skating between Baton Rouge and Pensacola. This year, you have even more chances to skate than you did last year. Executive Director Matt McDonnell said, “Last year, we had such an explosion with the popularity of ice skating that our demand really exceeded the amount of times that we had available to skate. We turned people away and that was not a good thing. This year, we’ve added more sessions. We’ve opened it up a week earlier than we did last year and we will extend a week later.”
