Ice skating coming back to the Coast

It’s almost time to lace up your skates and hit the ice.

The Coast Coliseum is preparing to open the ice skating rink for the season. Things kick off November 26th at 6 p.m.

There will be two sessions opening night and it will only cost you $12 including ice skates.

Also for beginners, the coliseum is offering ‘Bobby the Seal’ which is an aid for the kids to keep their balance.

Director of Entertainment and Special Events Katie Hensarling says it is great having this seasonal favorite right in our backyard. “It’s the only one around here. There’s not another one nearby. Everybody looks forward to it every year. It gets larger and more popular every year.”

Ice skating on the Coast will be available through January 5th.
