Ice skating is back at the Coast Coliseum

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s time to test your moves on the ice.

The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is opening their ice skating rink Friday, November 9th. If you’re wanting to skate there are two sessions tomorrow. Admission is $12 a session and lasts an hour and a half. The first session starts at 6 p.m. and the second starts at 8:30 p.m.

Something new this year is the ‘bobby.’ It costs $8 but there are only 10 available so make sure to arrive early. Lindsey Arthur with Mississippi Coast Coliseum Business Development said, “We have toddlers come out here. We have double blade skates for them. Families, kids coming home to visit from college for the holidays, it’s a really good, cold weather pastime when we don’t necessarily have the cold weather. You can bundle up.”

Ice skating will be available until January 6th. For a full schedule visit
