Ice skating is back at the Coast Coliseum

It’s always a Coast favorite for the whole family.

Today is the first day ice skating is back at the Coast Coliseum. The first session begins at 6 p.m.

It is open to all ages and is only $12 for 90 minute sessions. They have sessions throughout the day starting as early as 1 p.m.  You can also rent the popular skate aids ‘Bobby the Seal’ for $8.

The coliseum encourages guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before their session time because skates are first come, first serve. Katie Hensarling with the Coast Coliseum Entertainment Marketing said, “It is good family fun and it’s healthy for the whole family to come. You can bring your friends, have birthday parties. Everybody loves ice skating especially down here in the South. There is nowhere around here that has anything like that. We had a small delay but now we are ready to open and we are gonna run through January 5th.”

You can find all session times and dates on their website at
