Hurricane Michael Relief Fish Fry

The smell of tasty fish filled the air of Howard Avenue today where the Biloxi Fire Department held a fish fry benefitting Hurricane Michael relief efforts.

They held the fish fry at the Biloxi Fire Museum. These first responders recently got back from North Carolina, helping with relief efforts there. Now they are gearing up to do the same in Florida.

On November 2nd, the Biloxi Fire Department will be bringing around 30 to 40 people down to Florida with the money raised from this fundraiser. Biloxi Fire Chief Joe Boney said, “We want them to know they’re our neighbors and we want them to know that they are not alone. You know, we got that feeling when people came and helped us. So, we’re participating in the One Coast effort and doing our small part to assist the people of Florida in their time of need.”

You can still donate to their efforts by dropping off gift cards or cash to any of the stations or donating to the GoFundMe page which you can find by clicking here.
