Hurricane Michael recovery

“Operation Relief” left this morning for Florida to do what they can.

The group’s leader, Brandon Necaise, tells News 25 right now they are only letting residents back into Mexico City, but Operation Relief is still heading down there with pounds of food to do what they can.

They plan to cook a hot meal of red beans and rice for anyone in need. Team member Don Coulon said, “We are on this mission to help feed people in need. We remember since Katrina. We experienced it. We remember everything. We like to give the hand that people gave to us during Katrina. I know exactly what we are going to see. We have been there. It’s the same thing and it’s going to bring back memories.”
