Hubble Telescope captures new images of Jupiter

NASA has released amazing new images of the weather on Jupiter from the Hubble Space Telescope.

A crisp photo taken from 406-million miles way shows wild storms and colorful cloud bands on the gas giant.

One of the stormy weather systems is traveling around the planet at an amazing 350 miles per hour.

Jupiter’s iconic great red spot, which itself is a storm big enough to swallow earth, shows that it is actually shrinking in size.

To the far left, you can see Jupiter’s moon Europa.

NASA has been developing a mission to visit that icy world, which some consider to be a prime spot to check for alien life.

The Hubble photograph was taken at the end of August in the joint collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency.
