HSSM holding free community clinic in Long Beach
Heads up for all you pet owners, the Humane Society of South Mississippi will be hosting a free pet vaccine clinic on October 10th.
It will take place at the West Harrison Civic Center off Espy Avenue and will run from 2 to 6 in the afternoon. The clinic is available to all residents in the 39560 and 39571 zip codes.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times and cats must be in a carrier.
Puppies and kittens will need to be six weeks or older to receive a vaccine and 12 weeks or older for a rabies vaccine.
Not only will vaccinations be included, but owners can get their pets microchipped, get one month dose of flea preventative, and a voucher for a spay/neuter surgery.
There is a limit to three pets per household and no appointments are required.
