HSSM helping pets at the Holiday Vaccine Clinic

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-On Monday, the Humane Society of South Mississippi hosted a holiday drive-through vaccine clinic providing free care to the first 300 pets.

Cars lined up as pet owners from across Harrison County got their four-legged family members vaccinated. The clinic provided core vaccines including DAPP or HCP, as well as rabies and Bordetella shots.

Microchips and flea prevention was also offered, making it a one stop shop for pet care.

Organizers say it was a holiday reminder that keeping your pets healthy is essential and even the Grinch vaccinates his pet.
