Houston Nutt re-files lawsuit against Ole Miss

The Ole Miss football program could use a distraction from its current three game losing streak, but not the kind of distraction that comes from Houston Nutt and his lawsuit against his former employer.
Yesterday, the former head coach of the Rebels re-filed his lawsuit, claiming the likes of former Head Coach Hugh Freeze and Athletic Director Ross Bjork created a false public narrative regarding the NCAA’s investigation into the program.
His case, which was officially re-filed in the Lafayette County Circuit Court by using his re-match clause, is contesting that the aforementioned administration violated his severance agreement by attempting to shift the blame from Freeze to Nutt.
Ole Miss officials have stated they believe that their actions don’t warrant an apology or any kind of additional payment to Nutt.
