House fire in West Harrison

Over in Harrison County, a resident received treatment for minor injuries after a fire broke out at a home in West Harrison County this morning.

Around 4 a.m., there was a report of a manufactured home on fire on Firetower Road. Units arrived and found a single-wide mobile home in flames.

Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan tells News 25 the resident inside the home was able to escape, but was taken to a local hospital with breathing difficulties from smoke and minor burns, but was released later this morning.
