House Bill On Firearms

The Mississippi house voted Monday the ability to defy presidential orders regarding firearms in a 75 to 46 vote.

The house bill says it gives the state the right to defy orders from any president on gun control but democrat representative Adrienne Wooten says the difiance is aimed squarely at President Barack Obama.
The bill was held for more debate before going to the senate.
Democrats stalled debate last week amid concerns that majority republicans were ignoring their concerns.
